Description

This adjustable jade ring holds a round green stone at the top of a spreading silver coral frame.

Mottled green jade
The green is not solid. Paler cloudy patches and darker flecks run across the face, so the color shifts with the light. We dome the stone and take it to a polish, so the surface gives back a soft, even sheen.

The frame grows like coral
Thin silver arms branch out from under the stone and split again as they go, ending in small rounded tips. The openwork runs all the way through, so the ring reads as a living structure, not a solid plate.

Built in our Tbilisi studio
Every arm is cut, bent and soldered by hand. The silver is left bright at the tips and darkened in the hollows, which is what makes the branching read from a distance.

It covers the finger
The frame spreads wider than the stone and reaches across the joint, so keep the rest of the hand plain.

It adjusts on the finger
The band is open underneath, where the two ends pass each other, so the ring settles where you want it with no size to choose at checkout.

One of one
Every stone is chosen and set one at a time. The piece that reaches you will be close to the photograph and never a copy of it.
