Rose quartz is the pink variety of quartz, and it is almost never perfectly clear. That soft cloudiness is part of what makes it rose quartz rather than pink glass. Every stone here was cut and set by hand in my workshop in Tbilisi, in sterling silver (925).

It is an easy stone to own. GIA puts rose quartz at 7 on the Mohs scale and describes it as generally stable when exposed to light and heat, so the colour will not fade on you. Warm soapy water is always safe. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners should be avoided.
