Description

Silver malachite pendant necklace. A raw green stone at the center of a hand-built silver branch frame.

The malachite is unpolished. Its surface is matte and velvety, not glassy. Deep green, with lighter green running through it. We shape the stone and leave that surface alone.

The frame is the piece
Silver twigs radiate out from the setting and end in small rounded tips. The branch work takes up far more of the pendant than the stone does. Seen flat, it reads as a tree from above, or as coral.

Raw malachite, not polished
Most malachite jewelry uses a mirror polish. We stop one step earlier. That is where the depth of the green comes from.

Made by hand
We build each frame branch by branch and solder it by hand in our Tbilisi studio. No two come out the same.

Every stone is chosen and set one at a time. The piece that reaches you will be close to the photograph and never a copy of it.
