Description

Small moonstone necklace, a creamy white stone in a silver bezel ringed with beads, on a soft black cord.

Moonstone in cream, not snow white
This stone is not a cold white. There is warmth in it, and a faint yellow. We shape it in our Tbilisi studio and stop before the polish, so the surface stays grainy and takes the light softly.

A ring of beads around the bezel
Small silver balls sit along the edge of the setting, each one soldered on separately. It is the only ornament on the piece, and it is what makes a small stone worth looking at.

A fluted bail on a black cord
Above the stone is a silver bail cut with fine grooves, and the cord is soft and black with a lobster clasp. A bright chain would compete with the stone. The cord does not.

One of one
Every stone is chosen and set one at a time. The piece that reaches you will be close to the photograph and never a copy of it.
