A moonstone crystal face, not a smooth stone
The face of the stone is a crust of small crystal points, dozens of them, so it catches the light in many separate points instead of one flat reflection. We shape the stone in our Tbilisi studio and stop before the polish, so that crust is left untouched.

The stone sits off to one side
The stone is not centered on the ring. The branches crowd in from the left and the stone breaks out of that mass on the right, so the ring reads as movement rather than as a symmetrical setting.

Polished tips, dark in the dips
The tips of the branches are polished and the dark is left only in the dips, which gives the thicket depth: the eye picks out light and shadow between the twigs.

A wide band
The branches carry on around the finger, so this covers more of it than a plain band would.

It adjusts on the finger
The band is open underneath, where the two ends pass each other, so the ring settles where you want it with no size to choose at checkout.
