Description

Black tourmaline ring, a round stone facing a silver leaf across an open band.

The leaf is the counterweight
One arm of the band carries the stone. The other ends in a veined silver leaf that lies flat along the finger. The two sit opposite each other instead of one dominating.

Bright silver against dark tourmaline
The silver is left pale and polished. Next to the rough black face of the tourmaline the contrast is what you notice first.

A crown of beads
Small silver beads stand up all around the rim and hold the stone from the edge. The crown sits taller than the stone, so the face is set back a little.

Shaped by hand, left unpolished
We give the stone its round form in our Tbilisi studio and stop before the polish. The surface keeps its rough grain, with small sparks of violet and green in it.

It adjusts on the finger
The band does not close. One end carries the stone and the other ends in silver, and the two stop short of each other. Press them a little closer or ease them apart and the ring holds where you set it, with no size to choose at checkout.

One of one
Every stone is chosen and set one at a time. The piece that reaches you will be close to the photograph and never a copy of it.
