Description

Moonstone earrings, two long white wedges with flat cut faces, hanging from beaded silver leverbacks.

Narrow at the top, wide at the base
Each stone has straight edges and widens steadily from top to bottom. No stone comes out of the ground in this shape. We cut the faces in our Tbilisi studio and stopped before the polish.

Moonstone in opaque white, matte face
This stone does not pass light. It is a dense white with a finely grained surface, so it lights up evenly rather than in one bright point.

Silver only along the edges
There is no closed bezel. Dark silver follows the edge of each stone and stops here and there in small beads, and the back is left open. Above sits a beaded bar and a leverback fitting.

A pair, chosen together
Unpolished stones do not repeat. These two were picked side by side so they match in length, in the angle of the taper and in the tone of the white.

One of one
Every stone is chosen and set one at a time. The pair that reaches you will be close to the photograph and never a copy of it.
